Badge Buddies!!

I am finally back from h-India.....I was worried that I was never going to get home - maybe all the cows would sleep on the runway so the airplane could not take off. I met a very nice lady in the airport who asked Daddy if I always travel with him. He said it was just cos Mummy was away but I know he would take me everywhere. Silly Daddy. She gave me a squeeze - to see if I had a bomb inside me. As if I'd eat a bomb - I am careful what I eat - not like Pepsi would will scoof anything when he is hungry.
As you can see Pigeon and I formed a badge club. He has formed a new sub-agency off SBI Detects called The Pigeon Detectives. They investigate bird related crimes like . He has had a badge made which he is now wearing on his hat. I prefer to wear my I Love Hackney badge and my New Zealand Fern.
Tonight Daddy and I are talking about the investment options for bucket. We are going to give the money to the Post Office and I can either get Premium Bombs or they give me some money every month for looking after my money - bucket can't compete with that. I want to talk to my Mummy before I decide - Daddy is too much of a gambler and so he would definitely go for the premium bombs.

Safe as houses!!

This evening I perfected my safe escaping routine as you can see I am emerging from the safe. Daddy has been putting me in the safe in the evenings before he goes to dinner. I am thinking of starting an SBI Detects magic team. I am going to put one of the agents in a glass box over the thames and then get Pepsi and Westie Moo to collect all the burgers that are thrown at them. We can then sell them to the crowds. It is a sure fire way to make lots of €$s.
Today the Bobbins and Daddy wished we were with Mummy. Only 20 days until all the Dunne-Shirleys are back together again. Thats 5 times the fingers on one of Bobbins' hands. Love you Mummy.

Christmas comes early!!

Today the Bobbins and Daddy were missing Mummy very much as we went out and got her a present in Bangalore. There are two presents in the bag made out of newspaper - one from me and the boys and the other from Daddy. Most disappointly there was no present for the Bobbins. But the there was nothing bling enough there for me to have.

Today I have spent lots of quality time with Daddy and obviously that means lots of snoozing. Daddy and I also talked about my birthday present (my birthday is on the 2nd of June - for anyone reading who I might get a present from.) I told Daddy that I didnt want himto spend lots of money on me - but if he didnt I would be looking for a new Daddy.

I spent this evening in the safe as Daddy was out for dinner. Daddy likes to put me in the safe as he knows nothing can harm me there. I think we will be getting one for home. I would like it to be bigger and to be decortated in yellow.

Washing Surprise

Today I went to work with Daddy. On the way to work Daddy took some pictures of cows to show Mummy cows are everywhere here!!
When I got to work I thought that it was time to expand SBI Detects into India. So I sat down and thought about the jobs I could do here.
1. Look for homes for the cows
2. Washing and looking after cows
3. Providing cows food
4. Finding out whose cow is whose
5. Entertaining cows
As you can see most of the activities will be cow related but we have Mr Mooney in SBI Detects who is also a cow and so we have a big advantage. I need to find out if these cows have jobs and so have €$ to spend.
This evening Daddy and I cam e up with the idea to surprise the Laundry man by me jumping out of the laundry bag. Daddy took a picture of me practising!! Daddy promised me that I wont accidently get washed.

Turban-ator

Today I wanted Daddy to take me turban shopping instead of going to work. I have seen lots of turbans in India and I think I would look very nice in one. Daddy said we had to go to work today but maybe we would look for one at the weekend. I am looking forward to my shopping trip.

Daddy was very busy in meetings this morning so it was my job to check Daddy's emails. If an email came in I replied with "Daddy is not here at the moment, please try to email someone else as the Bobbins is busy". This took a long time so I decided to just delete them instead - like Donkey had taught us in school. Daddy was pleased that there were no emails in his email when he came back. After lunch I decided to snooze until we went home.

This evening I am going with Daddy to the Palace across the road so I put a flower in my tie. I am looking forward to dinner and I hope that I meet the queen who lives there. I have bought an apple with me to give her as Donkey says everyone likes apples.

All work and no curry makes Bobbins a happy boy

Hi, I am still in India, Daddy says we have to stay here for a while - I don't really understand why as its easier for Daddy to get to work from home. But as I am asleep for every journey to work except to look at the cows its ok.
Today my jet lag had cleared up a bit so I was back to my best as PA sponge. This meant that I was running around the office asking everyone if they liked curry. Daddy told me to stop it but I was just trying to get on with the locals as Donkey taught me it is important to do this wherever you go.
We went out at lunchtime and it was very hot. Daddy left me to do some sun bathing in the afternoon as I didnt want to do any work in the afternoon. I sent the driver Daddy has to go and find me some ice cream and to make sure it wasnt curry flavoured.
The picture of me is sitting on Daddy'd bed holding the card that the man who makes Daddy's bed leaves on it. I have told Daddy we should bring him home to make the Bobbin's bed every day. The card says "Oh, its nice to get up in the morning, but its nicer to lie in bed. Sir Harry Lauder" I think it is very nice for the man to leave us a message and I am impressed the man who makes Daddy's bed is a Sir. The message is a good one - if you leave out the bit about getting up - unless its to go to a gift winkel. I have left a message of my own "It is nice to get a present, and stay in bed. Robert Basil Dunne".

Cow-a-bunga!!

My second day in h-India and my first day as an h-Indian PA Bobbins. The Bobbins was up early with Daddy after we had only had 4 hours sleep, so I was very tired and snoozed in Daddy's bag whilst he had breakfast and got in the car. I woke up to look out of the window to do some cow spotting. I guess that the Indians like their milk really fresh or the cows have all taken jobs as milkmen.
Once we arrived at the office it was time for work. Unfortunately this was the exact moment that my jet lag really started, so I went back to the bag to have a snooze.
I managed to wake up for lunch and so Daddy took me across to the restaurant. I spotted a Subway, but it wasnt open and Daddy said he wouldnt eat there if they paid him. Crumbles - there must be somethng really wrong with the sandwiches there because Daddy really loves Subway. Maybe the cows had made them.
After lunch my jet lag was bad again so i had another snooze till it was home time. This jet lag makes being a PA Bobbins very difficult. I have my fingers crossed that my jet lag will still be here tomorrow - I meant be gone by tomorrow. Whoops!!
After my hard day at work, whilst Daddy was having dinner I decided to empty the mini bar and hide in there to surprise Daddy - but it got a little cold so I went to bed instead. Daddy said that he would have to pay for all the drinks now. Its a shame Mummy isnt here to make her usual hotel drink where she empties everything into one glass and downs it.

Brick Lane??

Yesterday the Bobbins flew to India. I am getting quite tired of flying all over the place and I will be very pleased when Mummy and Daddy finally decide to stay put in one place. Not to mention all the school that I have missed - soon I wont be able to count to 8. And that is a very important number for counting presents at Christmas.

As you can see from the picture I am slumming it in India. This is the small lounge that I am using to hold some important business meetings for Daddy. I have the servants come in and change the channel when I am bored.

This india is a very strange place. It seems that not everyone likes to live in a nice house and they keep their cows in the street. Daddy says that the cows here are sacred but I think he means scared - so would I be if I was a cow standing in the middle of the road. Westie Moo would never do that. Tomorrow I am going to the office to PA for Daddy. I will see if I can get a cow to come into the office - I know Daddy would enjoy that.

Home on the Range

I am back from my holidays. I had a really great time and over the next few blog entries I will be retelling some of the adventures that the family had in Hong Kong and New Zealand from the Bobbins point of view through the medium of photos.

For the last two days the Bobbins has mainly been sleeping, which has not been very good for me catching up in class. After two days on an airplane coming home the I am finding everywhere so comfortable to sit that I keep falling asleep. Donky has let me off so far but he said that jet lag is not a permanent excuse......I think he is wrong!!!!

I took this picture with the boys last night to remind me of being on holiday. Pigeon reminds me of pigeon bay where we visited, Pepsi of the Pig and Whistle pub in Rotorua, Pete of the whales we saw in Kaikoura and Westie Moo of all the irish pubs I saw from between the bar stools. Then it made me miss my Mummy....we forgot to pack her to bring her home from New Zealand. I am very annoyed at Daddy.
